I started Leading Beyond because I kept seeing the same thing: brilliant people, stuck in challenged systems.
Leading Beyond is led by Becky Travis-Booker.
Becky spent over 10 years in senior leadership roles, including Head of Department at the Yorkshire and Humber Postgraduate Deanery, responsible for the operational delivery of education of more than 7,000 doctors, and after this as Deputy Operations Director at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals. She has held the accountabilities our clients hold, at the level they hold them, with the same exposure when things go wrong.
This is why we are ready to support you. Not that we have done your specific job, but that we have lived the same responsibilities, reported into the same kind of scrutiny, and made the same calls with incomplete information and no obvious person to ask.
Senior leaders are not short of methodology. They are short of someone who knows the role from the inside.
